Kitten Shipping Policy

At Lynn Bengal Kitten Family, we understand that adopting a kitten is an exciting and life-changing decision. We strive to make the process as smooth and safe as possible for both you and your new kitten. Below is our shipping policy to guide you through the shipping process:

1. Safe and Secure Shipping

We partner with trusted pet transportation companies who specialize in the safe and comfortable shipping of kittens. All shipments are handled with the utmost care to ensure that your kitten arrives safely and stress-free.

  • Airline Shipping: Our Bengal Kittens are shipped via airlines that provide climate-controlled and safe travel options. We ensure that the flight is as short as possible to minimize stress for the kitten.
  • Ground Shipping: For certain locations, we may offer ground transportation using professional pet transport services that ensure safety, comfort, and regular stops for breaks.
2. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are determined based on several factors, including the destination, transportation method, and any special handling requirements for your puppy. Below is a general breakdown:

  • Domestic Shipping (within the USA): Shipping starts at $100, depending on the location and distance. 
  • International Shipping: For international shipments, please contact us for a personalized quote, as costs vary by country.
  • Ground Transportation: If available in your region, ground transportation may be a more affordable option. Contact us for specific pricing.

Note: All shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer and will be invoiced separately from the kitten purchase price.

3. Shipping Process

Once your payment is processed and your kitten is ready for transport, we will:

  1. Confirm Shipping Details: We’ll confirm the date, time, and shipping method with you, including any necessary paperwork, such as health certificates and vaccination records.
  2. Prepare for Travel: Your kitten will be carefully placed in an airline-approved, comfortable crate, complete with padding, food, and water. Each kitten is provided with a comfortable travel experience to minimize stress.
  3. Tracking Information: You will receive a tracking number so you can monitor your kitten’s journey and ensure they arrive safely.
4. Shipping Restrictions

Due to airline regulations and safety concerns, some destinations may have specific restrictions on shipping kittens. These include:

  • Weather Conditions: We do not ship kittens in extreme temperatures (either hot or cold) for their safety.
  • State Regulations: Certain states may have unique quarantine or importation laws that we need to comply with. Please verify any specific restrictions for your location.
  • Age Requirements: Kittens must be at least 8 weeks old before they can be shipped.
5. Delivery Time
  • Domestic Shipping: Kittens typically arrive within a day after departure, depending on the destination and shipping method.
  • International Shipping: For international shipments, arrival times may range from 2-5 days, depending on the destination country’s customs procedures.
6. Health & Safety During Shipping

Your kitten’s health and safety are our top priorities. Each Kitten undergoes a health examination by a licensed veterinarian prior to shipment. We ensure that all required vaccination records and health certificates are included with the shipping paperwork.

Important: While we take every measure to ensure a smooth shipping process, kittens may experience some mild stress during transport. We advise that you prepare your home in advance for their arrival and be ready to offer comfort and care once they’re home.

7. What to Do Upon Arrival

Once your Bengal Kitten arrives:

  • Meet and Greet: We recommend greeting your kitten calmly and allowing them time to adjust.
  • Initial Veterinary Checkup: We advise scheduling a veterinary appointment within the first 48 hours to ensure your kitten’s health is in excellent condition.
8. Shipping Insurance

We offer shipping insurance for all kittens. This ensures that if there is any delay, emergency, or issue during transport, you will be fully covered. The insurance also includes coverage for unexpected medical expenses during shipping.
